Wat Phratat Pha Sorn Kaew.
Wat Phratat Pha Sorn Kaew.
Wat Phratat Pha Sorn Kaew.
Wat Phratat Pha Sorn Kaew.
Wat Phratat Pha Sorn Kaew.
Grand plans.
Last night we slept well in the Grand Riverside Hotel in Phitsanulok.
Today we leave Phitsanulok and drive to
Phetchabun where we will stay two noghts.
Pia heard yesterday that in the house of Moue the electricity on the entire upper floor has
fallen out, that means also the air conditioning in our bedroom.
If that is not solved on time, we might go somewhere else for a few days.
Pia also gets more and more problems with her jaw, the wound that originated by drawing a
tooth last Monday
seems to be inflamed.
That will probably be a visit to the dentist as soon as we are back in Bangkok.
We depart from Phitsanulok around half past eleven, it is about 200 km, and that should be
possible in just over 2 hours.
Along the way we refuel.
Along the way we want to go and see what Phratat Pha Sorn Kaew we were
a few years ago.
When we are in the neighborhood we see this temple on a mountain.
But we don't see a turn anywhere.
We ask Google for help and it turns out that we
have to drive back almost 20 km.
Then of course we see a turn, but it is closed.
There is a restaurant right next to it where we eat something and we immediately ask the
right way.
Just follow the closed road.
We come to the temple, lucky is not very busy, and it makes the impression of being very
well organized.
We continue our trip to Phetchabun and find our hotel, the Livist Resort without any problems. Our room, on the fourth floor, is spacious and light, but scarce furnished. We will like it here for two nights, especially because there is also a beautiful garden, a restaurant and even a bar.
Pia now wants to go to a dentist, we are going to search, but almost all dentists in
Phetchabun are closed.
In the end, at the fifth where we are going to look, the practice is still open, DDC Dental
Clinic, along the road towards Saraburi.
They are already closing, but fortunately Pia is helped, and she is satisfied with the
treatment.
We eat in the hotel restaurant, in a beautiful garden, not too busy, friendly staff and reasonable food at a reasonable price.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
